Poker V is a free-to-play, play-money Texas Hold'em poker game. It is available as a Telegram Mini App and at poker-v.com.
By using Poker V, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Poker V uses virtual chips with NO real-money value. Chips cannot be:
Poker V is NOT a gambling service. No real money is wagered at any time.
Poker V includes game modes (Practice and AI Kombat) where you play against computer-controlled opponents (“bots”) instead of, or alongside, other players. Bots are automated software, not real people, and are disclosed to you in-app before you play against them. Nothing in this section changes Section 6’s prohibition on you using automated tools to play against other players — Poker V’s own bot opponents are a feature of the app, not a violation of it.
While seated at the same table as another player, you may send (“gift”) a portion of your own chip balance to them, so you can play together at higher stakes. This is the one exception to the “cannot be transferred” rule above: gifted chips move between two players’ balances within the app only, at the sender’s own choice. A Table Gift cannot be reversed, refunded, or converted to real currency, and gifting is capped per transfer and cannot reduce your own balance below what the table you are seated at requires.
You must be 18 years or older to use Poker V. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18. We reserve the right to terminate accounts if we have reason to believe a user is under 18.
Your identity is based on your Telegram account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Telegram account.
If you play via poker-v.com without Telegram, a unique identifier (UUID) is generated and stored locally on your device. You may optionally connect a Telegram account later.
By uploading a profile photo or using any future communication features, you grant Poker V a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content to other players within the app. This license exists solely to operate the game — we will not use your content for any other purpose.
Activity at public tables (names, photos, chip counts and actions — never chat or hole cards) is visible to other players browsing tables.
You are responsible for any content you upload. Do not upload:
Voice chat is optional and off by default. When you enable it, your microphone audio is sent live to the other players at your table and is never recorded or stored by us. You are responsible for what you say. Anyone nearby may be heard, so do not enable your microphone where others have not agreed to be heard. You can change your voice mode or turn your microphone off at any time. Blocking and reporting apply to voice as they do to text, and voice adds a per-player mute you can use at any time. A player you have blocked can neither hear you nor be heard by you.

We may suspend or permanently ban your account at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Reasons include but are not limited to violation of these Terms or reported misconduct.
Banned users lose access to their chip balance and game history. Chips have no real value (see section 2), so no refund or compensation applies.
Chip balances are virtual and have no monetary value. If in-app purchases are introduced in the future (e.g., via Telegram Stars), separate purchase terms will apply at that time.
We reserve the right to modify chip balances, top-up amounts, and game economics at any time.
In AI Kombat’s Elimination mode, you stake an entry amount of your virtual chip balance to play against a table of bot opponents. If you are eliminated (run out of chips) before defeating every bot at the table, your entry stake is forfeit — there is no rebuy or refund. If you defeat every bot at the table, the chips remaining on the table are credited to your balance. As with all chips in the app (Section 2), everything staked or won in Elimination mode is virtual, has no real-money value, and cannot be exchanged, withdrawn, or cashed out.
Poker V runs background tournaments (“Daily Cup” and “Weekly Cup”) that you take part in automatically by playing. Your tournament score is your net result, measured in big blinds, across the hands you play at real-chip tables with other players during the tournament window: chips won in a hand add to your score and chips lost subtract from it, divided by that table's big blind. Hands in Practice, AI Kombat and the tutorial do not count, and neither do daily claims, invite bonuses, gifts, prizes or rebuys. Windows run on Moscow time (UTC+3): the daily tournament from 06:00 to 06:00 and the weekly tournament from Monday 06:00 to the following Monday 06:00, and a hand counts in the window in which it ends.
To be eligible for a prize you must play a minimum number of counted hands in the window (currently 10 for the daily and 30 for the weekly tournament). Players below the minimum are not ranked and are not paid until they reach it. Ties are decided in favour of the player who reached the score first. Prizes go to the top places only, are not paid for places that no qualified player fills, and do not roll over.
Prizes are virtual chips credited to your balance. As with all chips in the app (Sections 2 and 8), they have no real-money value and cannot be exchanged, withdrawn, or cashed out.
We may change, pause or end the tournaments, their windows, scoring, minimums and prizes at any time. We may also void results and withhold or reclaim prizes, and suspend accounts under Section 7, in cases of abuse, including collusion between players, deliberately losing chips to another player (“chip-dumping”), or using multiple accounts.
You can belong to one community at a time: one of the official communities listed in the app (university communities and Rebels) or a clan created by players. Membership is optional and self-declared. Joining a university community does not mean you study or work there, and neither a community nor anything else in Poker V implies any affiliation with, or endorsement by, any university. University names and logos belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification only. We remove a university’s name or logo promptly at the rights holder’s request (see Section 14 for contact).
Joining a community when you have none is free. Moving to another community, and leaving one, is limited by a waiting period that grows with each move (currently 1 day after the first, then 2, 4, 8 days and so on) and does not reset. Your community, and its members list (names, photos and chip balances), are visible to other players.
Clan names, tags and mottos are User Content under Section 5 and are subject to Section 6 and to moderation. Players can report a clan name. We may reset a clan’s name, tag or motto, or remove a clan, at any time and without notice. A clan’s founder can rename it and change its tag or crest (at most once every 30 days), set its motto, remove members and hand leadership to another member. If the founder plays no counted hands for 14 days, leadership passes automatically to the member with the most counted hands in that period, if any member played at least one; if the founder leaves, it passes to the most active remaining member. A clan with no members left is deleted, and its name and tag become available again. An official community’s captain is the top qualified player of its most recent Community Cup; captains can set the motto and call game nights, but cannot rename the community or remove members.
A community’s founder or captain can call a game night, at most once per day. Members see it in the app, and members who can receive messages from the Poker V Telegram bot are sent a notification. You can stop these notifications by leaving the community or blocking the bot.
Live table alerts are optional and are off by default. If you explicitly enable them and allow the Poker V bot to message you, we may send you a Telegram DM when another player is waiting alone at a public table. You choose the times of day when these alerts may arrive. You can mute live alerts from any live alert or change your preferences in Profile.
Public sessions recur daily at 19:00 and 23:00 UTC+3 and use ordinary public matchmaking. A scheduled reminder is a one-time request for the displayed occurrence, separate from live-table alerts. If you tap I’m in, remind me and allow the Poker V bot to message you, we may send one Telegram DM at that session’s scheduled start; no local-time window applies to this one-time request. Live and scheduled alerts share a limit of at most three alerts per rolling 24 hours and at least 15 minutes between alerts. Neither a session nor an alert guarantees opponents or that a table or seat will still be available when you open the link. Signing up for a reminder or attending a session earns no reward; only ordinary public-table play and its existing rules apply.
Each university community and Rebels runs a weekly championship (“Community Cup”) for its members only; player-made clans have no Community Cup. It follows the Tournaments rules above, including scoring, windows (the same week as the Weekly Cup), ties, abuse, and our right to change, void or end it, with these differences: the minimum is 30 counted hands; the prizes are the Community Cup’s own (currently 10,000, 6,000 and 4,000 chips for the top three); and no prizes are paid in a week in which fewer than three members qualify. A hand counts for the community you belong to when the hand is scored. If you leave or switch community during a week, your progress in the Community Cup of the community you left is removed. Community rankings by total chips (“treasury”) are for display only and carry no prize.

When you invite a new player using the in-app invite link, both you and the player you invited may receive a bonus of virtual chips. The invited player’s bonus is credited when they first open the app through your link; your bonus is credited only after they have completed at least one hand at a table.
The bonus is available only for genuinely new accounts. Inviting yourself, creating additional accounts to claim bonuses, or otherwise manipulating the invite system forfeits any bonus and may result in suspension of your account under Section 7. Bonus chips are virtual chips and, like all chips in the app, have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or cashed out.
We may change the bonus amount, the conditions for earning it, or withdraw it entirely at any time.
Poker V, including its design, code, animations, and branding, is the property of Poker V. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

Poker V is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poker V and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Since no real money is involved, maximum aggregate liability is limited to zero (€0).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
